Treatability Study Capabilities
EET offers its patented and patents-pending HEED® electrodialysis system for use in bench and pilot scale systems testing. Several types of membranes are available for evaluation for specific applications based on process temperature, selectivity, and efficiency requirements.
Ultrafiltration, Nanofiltration, and Reverse Osmosis
We have state-of-the-art lab and bench-scale systems for performing ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis studies. We offer a wide variety of membranes for study (including Millipore, Osmonics, and FilmTec), which allows us to determine the optimal membrane for a given separation process. Pilot scale systems are also available for use in treatability study tests and evaluations.
Recycle of Aqueous/Organic Streams
We have unparalleled experience with recycling aqueous and organic solutions. Our expertise includes filtration, heavy metal removal, and de-ionization of low conductivity solutions such as ethylene glycol and spent antifreeze. Our team can evaluate innovative de-ionization and recycling methods for a variety of aqueous and organic solutions arising from the chemical processing, waste recycling, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
EET can evaluate a number of particle filtration technologies, including cartridge, multimedia, and microfiltration.
We work closely with a number of wastewater treatment chemical vendors and so can evaluate a variety of metal precipitation technologies, including those requiring oxidation/reduction reactions and coagulation/flocculation.
EET has extensive experience with dewatering a wide variety of process streams and wastewaters, and we can perform lab and bench scale studies simulating filter press and rotary drum filtration.
